 Who Can Apply for a Schengen Visa at the Dutch Embassy / Consulate / VAC?
If you plan to visit only the Netherlands within the Schengen area, you should submit your short-stay visa application at the Netherlands embassy or consulate in your country of residence.
However, if your travel itinerary includes multiple Schengen countries, the Dutch Embassy/Consulate will consider your application under the following conditions:
1. If you intend to spend more days in the Netherlands than in any other Schengen country.
2. If you plan to spend an equal number of days in each Schengen country but will enter the Schengen Zone through the Netherlands.
Additionally, the Dutch Embassy/Consulate/Visa Application Centre (VAC) will accept your application if you meet one of these criteria:
1. You are a citizen of the country where you are submitting the application.
2. You are a foreign citizen residing in the country where you are applying, either with a permanent or temporary residence permit.
Please note that you cannot apply for a short-stay Dutch visa from a country where you are currently holding a visa.

Global Tourism Investment Remains Over $100 Billion Behind Pre-pandemic Levels
