  FLY TO INDONESIA WITH E-VISA


Indonesia has now issued electronic visa or e-Visa. To obtain the e-Visa, you must have a local sponsor in Indonesia. Your sponsor should apply for the e-Visa on your behalf. When approved, you will receive the e-Visa by email.

The e-Visa is valid for travel into Indonesia, without additional documents from the Indonesian Embassy in Islamabad. You still have to comply with the health protocols and submit relevant documents, which include:

  1. A valid medical certificate from the local health authority and the COVID-19 negative PCR test result. Both documents must be issued within seven days prior to your arrival date in Indonesia;
  2. A statement of willingness to go into quarantine (mandatory or voluntary), pay for the expenses that occur during quarantine, comply with the prevailing laws and regulations, and willingness to be monitored by the local health authorities;
  3. A health insurance that covers the medical expenses of COVID-19 treatment, or a statement of willingness to pay for all the expenses that occur during the treatment.

In accordance with the Regulation of the Minister for Law and Human Rights Number 26 of 2020 on Visa and Stay Permit in the New Normal (Permenkumham 26/2020), entry into Indonesia is possible for holders of the following documents:

  1. Official Visa;
  2. Diplomatic Visa;
  3. Visitor Visa;
  4. Temporary Stay Visa;
  5. Official Stay Permit;
  6. Diplomatic Stay Permit;​

GENERAL INFORMATION

  1. To entry into Indonesia, foreign nationals need to have in their possession passport with validity should not less than 6 months of validity prior to departure and appropriate visas.
  2. The application is made by filling out appropriate application forms - available from https://kemlu.go.id/islamabad/en, and by enclosing 2 colors passport-size photographs and a valid passport, along with supporting documents depending on the types of visa to be applied.
  3. Visa application has to be submitted through designated visa drop box agents (link list drop box agents)
  4. A fee is payable in US Dollar currency only.
  5. Certain applications visa, such as for working, journalist, studying or living in Indonesia and other applications that need a special permit from the Immigration Office in Indonesia can take up to two months before a decision is made and the visa granted.
  6. Visa that has been issued is valid for 90 days. If an applicant fails to enter Indonesia within 90 days period after the visa is issued, the visa will be declared invalid.
  7. Guarantee of fund to cover living expenses while in Indonesia.
  8. Please note that permission to enter Indonesia is the authorization of the Immigration Officer at the point of entry in Indonesia.
  9. The Embassy reserved the right to accept or reject any visa application without giving any reasons.

  11. The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia reserves the right to request additional documents if needed.

Legalization of Pakistani documents:

  1. This service is provided by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Islamabad for residents of Pakistan who need to legalize Pakistani/foreign documents to be used in Indonesia.
  2. The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Islamabad  will legalize any document(s) only after the document(s) has been notarized / legalized /authenticated by Ministry of Foreign Affairs
  3. After your documents authenticated by the Authentication Office, then proceed to have the documents legalized by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Islamabad/​
