  • valid travel document (the period of validity of the travel document shall exceed that of the visa's by three months, it must include at least two empty pages and must be issued in the preceding 10 years);
  • colour photo 35x45 mm;
  • supporting documents which prove: purpose of stay (for tourist visit – reservation of accommodation; for business visit -  original Letter of Guarantee by a Legal Person; for private visit a letter of guarantee of a private person (notarized, in original -http://www.mvep.hr/en/consular-information/visas/issuance-procedure/letter-of-guarantee/); ensured accommodation; means of subsistence to cover the stay in Croatia and the return to the country of origin or to a third country; means of transport and the intention to return to the country of origin or to a third country;
  • travel health insurance to cover any expenses which might arise during the stay in Croatia in connection with: urgent medical attention and/or emergency hospital treatment, or repatriation in the country of residence for medical reasons, or transportation in the event of death. The minimum coverage shall be the equivalent of EUR 30,000;
  • visa fee is charged at the moment of submitting the visa application and amounts to € 60/ $ 69.
Visa applications are decided on within 15 days from the date of the lodging of an application with the required documents. This period may be extended up to a maximum of 30 or 60 days, if there are justified reasons to do so. 
Also, please be informed that all third-country nationals who are holders of valid Schengen documents and national visas and residence permits of Bulgaria, Cyprus and Romania do not require an additional (Croatian) visa for entry and short-term stay in Croatia.
Third-country nationals who hold a valid:
  • Schengen uniform visa (C) for two or multiple entries, valid for all Schengen Area Member States;
  • Schengen visa with limited territorial validity (LTV visa), for two or multiple entries, issued to the holder of a travel document that is not recognised by one or more, but not all of the Schengen Area Member States, and which is valid for the territory of the Member States recognising the travel document;
  • Schengen long-stay visa (D) for stays exceeding three months, issued by one of the Schengen Area Member State;
  • Schengen residence permit issued by one of the Schengen Area Member State;
  • national visas for two or multiple entries and residence permits of the Republic of Bulgaria, listed in Annex I of the Decision No 565/2014/EU;
  • national visas for two or multiple entries and residence permits of the Republic of Cyprus, listed in Annex III of the Decision No 565/2014/EU;
  • national visas for two or multiple entries and residence permits of the Romania, listed in Annex IV of the Decision No 565/2014/EU;
