Who Can Apply for a Schengen Visa at the Lithuanian Embassy / Consulate / VAC?

To be eligible to submit your short-stay visa application at a Lithuanian Embassy, Consulate, or Visa Application Centre (VAC), one of the following conditions must apply to your situation:

1. You will only be visiting Lithuania and not any other Schengen country.

2. You plan to visit multiple Schengen states, but Lithuania is your primary destination. This means:

   - You will spend more time in Lithuania than in other countries.

   - You will spend an equal amount of time in each country, but your entry into the Schengen Zone will be through Lithuania.

Furthermore, you can file a Lithuania short-stay visa application at a Lithuanian Embassy, Consulate, or VAC if you fall into one of the following categories:

- You are a citizen of the country from which you are applying.

- You are a foreign citizen holding a permanent or temporary residence permit in the country from which you are applying.

Please note that you cannot apply for a short-stay Lithuanian visa from a country where you are currently on a visa.
