Kuwaiti citizens have gained visa-free access to a total of 50 countries, as revealed in an official memorandum provided in response to an inquiry by MP Osama Al Zaid. The Foreign Minister, Sheikh Salem Al Sabah, detailed the current visa policies for Kuwaiti passport holders, showcasing a significant increase in their global travel options. Kuwaiti nationals can now travel to 50 countries without the need for prior visa arrangements. These nations are spread across various regions, including 10 in Europe, three in Australasia and nearby areas, seven in Asia, four in Africa, 13 in the Americas, and 13 Arab countries. This expansion of visa-free access is expected to enhance travel opportunities and global connectivity for Kuwaiti citizens.
In addition to visa-free entry, Kuwaiti travelers also have the option of obtaining electronic visas for 11 countries, with these countries spanning four in Europe, three in Asia, two in Africa, and two in the Americas. Furthermore, on-arrival visas are available in 32 countries, offering further convenience for Kuwaiti tourists. These countries consist of five in Australasia and nearby regions, 12 in Asia, 13 in Africa, one in the Americas, and one Arab nation. However, it's important to note that Kuwaiti passport holders still require visas for entry into 104 countries, which includes 36 European nations, seven in Australasia and neighboring regions, 10 in Asia, 28 in Africa, 20 in the Americas, and three Arab countries.
