Kazakhstan's Minister of Internal Affairs, Yerzhan Sadenov, conducted a working visit to Brussels on October 4, where he engaged in discussions with Johannes Luchner, the Deputy Director General of the European Commission for Migration and Home Affairs. During his visit, Minister Sadenov had the opportunity to meet with the leadership and experts from the European Commission Directorate General for Migration and Home Affairs. This marked the first-ever encounter between Kazakh officials and this authoritative body, which holds responsibilities for regulating the visa policies of Schengen countries. In the meeting, Minister Sadenov provided a comprehensive overview of the ongoing socio-political reforms within Kazakhstan, highlighting the enhancements being made across various facets of migration policy.
